Process

We offer flexible support tailored to the specific phase of your project.
From specific requests such as “Design Only” or “Up to Die Manufacturing,”
to comprehensive “Comprehensive Development from Design through Prototyping,”
we provide optimal technical support and solutions based on your needs and development stage.
Below is our standard development process from initial inquiry to prototyping.

STEP
Inquiry

First, please contact us via our Contact Form, attaching drawings or data files of the product under consideration. Specifying your required phase (e.g., “Design Only,” “Up to Die Manufacturing,” or “Through Prototyping”) at this stage will ensure a smoother process.
After reviewing your materials, a sales representative in your region will contact you to confirm details and discuss your specific requirements.

STEP
Preliminary Review

[Initial Feasibility Study]
We conduct an initial review based on your requirements and drawings through phone calls or meetings.

  • Evaluation of forgeability and forming methods
  • Technical assessment of feasibility against customer specifications
  • Identification of factors affecting cost and lead time

Please note that for products with complex shapes or high requirements for strength and precision, additional time may be required for technical verification to ensure the best possible proposal.

[Meetings]
We present the results of our initial review and discuss the proposal, cost, and lead time. If any points do not meet your expectations, we will re-evaluate and arrange a follow-up meeting.

[Quotation]
Once final approval is received from the customer, we submit a formal quotation.

STEP
Contract

Upon agreement on the proposal and quotation, a formal contract is established.
At this stage, the project transitions into the full-scale design and development phase.

STEP
Engineering (Process & Die Design)

Following the contract, we begin process and die design.
By integrating our accumulated experience with cutting-edge technical insights, we achieve optimal forging designs that meet required characteristics. Through pre-analysis, we predict and avoid manufacturing issues, deriving the best solutions for material yield, shape, and processing steps.
During this stage, we actively utilize CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) to simulate material flow and load and stress on products and dies, ensuring thorough pre-verification of the proposed method’s feasibility.

STEP
Die Manufacturing

Based on the drawing data approved by the customer, we begin die manufacturing.
Utilizing our high-precision machining equipment and long-standing manufacturing and quality evaluation technologies, we produce high-quality forging dies validated by CAE analysis.

STEP
Prototyping

We conduct physical press trials using either the customer’s equipment or our own dedicated prototyping facilities, attended by our technical experts.
By cross-referencing simulation results with actual trial data, we perform final precision verification of the forging process and product shape. This significantly reduces unnecessary trial and error, minimizing development costs and shortening lead times.
The development is finalized while maintaining close communication with the customer regarding progress, verification results, and future costs and lead times.

After-Sales Support

Even after the start of mass production, we respond flexibly and swiftly to various customer requests and unforeseen challenges. Specifically, we provide powerful backup through after-sales support to ensure long-term stable supply, including troubleshooting such as die life countermeasures and the repeat supply of dies. We promise to work closely with our customers even in the post-prototyping phases.
