Integrated Support: From Design to Die Manufacturing and Prototyping
Cold Forging Tooling: Common Challenges
Short Tool Life Due to Cracking and Premature Wear
Frequent die cracking and premature wear lead to unexpected production line downtime and surging tooling replacement costs.
Insufficient Accuracy for Complex Geometries & Internal Know-How Limits
Are you struggling to achieve required tolerances for complex shapes, or lacking the internal expertise needed to optimize tooling design?
Repeated Prototyping and Long Production Lead Times
Endless prototyping cycles consume valuable time and budget, causing significant delays in mass production startup.
Overcome These Challenges with Yamanaka Engineering!
Exceptional Tool Life and Durability

By selecting optimal tool materials and surface coatings, combined with our proprietary tooling design and manufacturing technologies, we dramatically extend die life. This minimizes line stoppage risks and reduces your total tooling costs.
Handling Complex Geometries Backed by Over 1,500 Proven Solutions

Leveraging extensive expertise from over 1,500 successful projects alongside cutting-edge equipment such as multi-action presses, we engineer optimal tooling designs even for the most demanding, complex shapes—empowering your new development initiatives.
Drastic Lead-Time Reduction Through Advanced CAE Simulation

Utilizing advanced CAE forming analysis, we thoroughly verify forming loads and material flow in advance. This eliminates trial-and-error rework in prototyping and drastically shortens lead times from development to mass production.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is it possible to communicate and conduct business meetings in English or local languages?
Yes, absolutely. In addition to English communication, our dedicated local teams in Thailand, China, Singapore, and India provide smooth support in local languages without time-zone issues.
Can you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and consult with us from the early concept/drawing stage with CAE evaluation?
Yes, we can. After executing an NDA, we can consult with you from the initial concept and early development phases—even before final drawings are complete. Utilizing advanced CAE forming simulation, we evaluate forging feasibility and propose optimal tooling structures.
What is the standard lead time from order placement to delivery at an overseas factory?
Lead times vary depending on the tool size, geometric complexity, and transportation mode (air freight or sea freight). However, by eliminating trial-and-error rework through pre-forming simulations, we achieve rapid delivery. A clear schedule will be presented with our quotation. Please feel free to contact us for urgent project requirements.
Can we request specific standalone services (e.g., design only, CAE analysis only, or prototyping only)?
Yes, we accept single-process requests. In addition to complete mass-production tooling, we offer standalone services such as “prototype tooling fabrication only,” “CAE forging simulation & structural analysis only,” or “tooling engineering & design only.” Please feel free to test our engineering capabilities.
What information is required to request a quotation or a forging feasibility study?
Please provide the following details, and we will promptly prepare an initial evaluation and quotation:
・Product 2D drawing or 3D CAD data (part geometry)
・Workpiece material and forging specifications (cold, warm, etc.)
・Estimated production volume (lot size)
・Preferred delivery destination (country / region)
